Refik Anadol has become the most visible AI artist globally, with his 'Unsupervised' becoming the first generative AI work in MoMA's permanent collection after 3 million viewers. His Machine Hallucinations series, begun during the 2016 Google AMI Residency, trains GANs on massive datasets (300M+ nature images for 'Nature Dreams') to produce continuously evolving visualizations. Anadol was the first artist to use the Las Vegas Sphere.
